FHS games vs Plymouth today have been canceled. Boys jv and var will practice today from 4:30-6:30 and girls will be 6:30-8:30 all in the FMS gym.

FMS basketball practices are canceled for today due to the the full remote status. The games at Plymouth tomorrow (Fri 1/22) are still on for FMS.

Good Afternoon Franklin Families, I am reaching out this afternoon to let you know that 2 students have tested positive today, one at the high school and one at the middle school. The high school student contact tracing will be completed by this evening and the high school will be open for in person learning tomorrow for Cohort B students. The middle school student attended school yesterday so the middle school will be fully remote tomorrow so that the contact tracing can be completed. The student has not been in school for the past 10 days so the contact tracing was minimal and has been completed. All 3 schools will be open for in-person learning tomorrow for Cohort A students. Good evening Franklin Families, A reminder that there is no school on Friday as it is a teacher’s workshop day and no school on Monday for the holiday. The Franklin School Board meeting will be held on Tuesday next week due to the Monday holiday. The meeting will be held at our new start time of 6:00 at our new location in the Franklin High School cafeteria. The public is welcome to attend or view the meeting on our youtube channel, "Franklin NH School Board." A link will be sent out with the agenda later this week.

Friday, January 15, there will be NO school for students as it is a Teacher Inservice Day. Staff at all three schools will be participating in Professional Development all day. Also, Monday, January 18, all schools are CLOSED in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. There is NO school on Monday. All schools will resume with Group A hybrid on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Good Afternoon Franklin Families, I hope you had a great holiday and a relaxing vacation. I wish you and your families a very Happy New Year and a great 2021! I wanted to let you know that we had a staff member at Franklin High School test positive over the weekend. There were no close contacts, as we were all out on vacation. We are all set to welcome back our Cohort A students, in-person tomorrow morning, at all 3 schools. A couple of reminders as we head into the new year. Please be sure to contact the schools if your child tests positive for COVID-19. The sooner we know, the sooner we can initiate contact tracing to keep everyone safe. Please continue to monitor your child/children for symptoms and keep them home to work remotely if they are exhibiting any flu-like symptoms. Additionally, please remember that if you traveled out of New England, our students need to quarantine for 7 days with a negative PCR test on the 7th day, or quarantine for a total of 10 days without a test before returning to school per NH Department of Health and Human Services guidelines.. Good Morning Franklin Families - Due to the poor road conditions and winter clean up, we are unable to deliver meals today using our buses. Our window will be open until noon at the Franklin Middle School for meal pick ups and weekend food bags for those that are able to make it. Thank you and have a good weekend.
