Dear Franklin Families, I hope your new year is off to a great start! As part of our ongoing commitment to shaping well-rounded, compassionate, and future-ready students, I wanted to invite you to our community forum on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 6:00 in the Franklin Middle School cafeteria. At this event, we will be sharing an update on our Portrait of a Graduate, a framework that highlights the key skills and values we aim to instill in our students. As we flip the calendar to 2025, we will be launching our focus on humanity component of the portrait and the practices of empathy, kindness, and social responsibility. During this event, you will have the opportunity to learn about: The Portrait of a Graduate framework and its impact on students and school programming so far. Why the district is emphasizing the commitment to humanity this coming year. Practical ways you can support these values at home and in the community including an invitation to join the Portrait of a Graduate Advisory. Thank you for your continued support in helping our students grow into well rounded and thoughtful individuals Sincerely, Dan LeGallo Superintendent
