The end of the school year is nearing and the Franklin School Board would like to show our appreciation to the dedicated teachers of SAU 18.
We are looking to assist the teachers in closing their classrooms for the summer during the week of June 16-20. We'd love to have parents join our efforts. If you have an hour or two during that week to help a teacher please complete the form below by June 10, so that we can organize everyone and will give teachers time to prepare for assistance before the end of the school year.

Good morning PSS Families,
I am reaching out to let you know that the cleanup from the flood is moving along well but the Servpro crew needs an additional day tomorrow to complete their work. The elementary school will be closed again tomorrow. I appreciate your patience as we complete the clean up efforts to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for our students and staff.
Sincerely,
Dan LeGallo
SAU 18 Superintendent

Dear Franklin Families and Staff, As you know, we had an issue with a pipe that caused a flood in the PSS Elementary School. ServPro is on site and will need at least 2 days to mitigate the issue. The Elementary school will be closed to Staff and Students on Tuesday and Wednesday with hopes of reopening on Thursday. The Franklin Parks and Recreation Department is making plans to accept PSS students Tuesday and Wednesday who are in the Rec Center’s before and after school program and registered for their summer programs. PSS Staff will be receiving an email from their Principal letting them know what to do in the next 2 days. Once again the Elementary School will be closed for Students and Staff Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mrs. Gregg's third graders are officially published authors. After learning about the Iditarod for the month of March they worked on a piece of writing to show what they learned.

On Monday the third graders were visited by Jeremy Woodward, who talked to them about the importance of perseverance, hard work, and trying our very best in all things. Jeremy has survived two open heart surgeries, is a two-time Ironman, and has run the Boston Marathon for Tedy's Team multiple times.
The third graders really enjoyed hearing his story and I think they really understood the message he was trying to convey.

Just a reminder that Kindergarten visitation days, for incoming kindergarten students are scheduled for May 23 and 30. If you have not signed up for a time slot please do so by calling 603-934-4144.

Happy Mother's Day! On Friday, Mrs. Gregg's 3rd Grade class hosted Muffins with Mom. Moms, aunts, and grandmothers came to join us for muffins, fruit, conversation, and games. It was a wonderful time for all!

Important the water is back on and all students will be staying at Paul Smith Elementary. Again all students will be staying at Paul Smith Elementary.

Dear Franklin Families and Staff,
There has been a water main break on North Main Street and we are going to transport all Paul Smith Elementary students to the middle school gym and field for the day. You are welcome to pick them up, if you would like, at the middle school. They can however stay for the day. At the end of the day, please pick them up at the normal time, but at the middle school.
Sincerely,
Dan LeGallo
Superintendent
