Miss Gilbert’s second grade class enjoyed snowy stem activities during the month of January. The students learned about snowflakes, symmetry, how snowflakes form, and snowflake Bentley, who became famous for his microscopic photographs of snowflakes. Students created their own snowflakes with loose parts and also built homes for arctic animals that they have been reading about!
