Good Afternoon Franklin Families,
I hope you are enjoying summer and are starting to get excited for the beginning of the new school year. I am reaching out today to share with you our draft School Reopening Plan. It is attached for your review.
The plan will be going to the Franklin School Board for discussion and approval at their meeting this Monday, August 23rd at 6:00 in the Franklin High School cafeteria. The draft plan is updated from our June version that was shared with you at the end of the school year.
The draft plan details our mitigation strategies to continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic when students return to school on September 7th. Please recognize that this continues to be a "fluid" situation as I am monitoring information on a daily basis including community transmission rates, Franklin cases, and Franklin vaccination rates.
I encourage you to review the draft plan and please feel free to reach out to me with any feedback or questions you have on the plan. I will update you next week on the action the Board takes Monday night on the plan.
