Good evening Franklin Families, I am reaching out regarding the tragedy that impacted our community yesterday. We grieve for the family and are grateful that the student involved is out of the hospital and recovering. We are coordinating with the Disaster Behavioral Health Response Team at the state level to prepare for our return to school tomorrow morning. We will have counseling staff available to help students and staff at all 3 schools who need assistance. Please feel free to reach out to the schools if you anticipate any specific needs for your student/s. I am also available as always to answer questions and provide any needed resources or support. Tutor.com is free of charge for all students, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! The District encourages students to take advantage of this powerful 24/7 academic support option. Students can share files with their tutor and choose to interact with their tutor using voice or text/chat features. Spotlight on Science On Friday, May 12 the middle school was treated to Mr. Perkins’ student rendition of the Natural Disaster Museum. The Winni middle six graders in Mr. Perkins. Science class created a variety of displays and projects based on a variety of natural disasters!
