I am reaching out to let you know that we have had no other reported COVID-19 cases and are all set to reopen the elementary school tomorrow with in-person learning for Cohort B students.
I appreciate your patience and support during our 2 day transition to remote learning. I will continue to keep you updated on any reported cases.

Good Afternoon Franklin Families,
We have had a second staff member test positive today at the elementary school related to the positive staff member case I reported to you on Saturday. We have had to quarantine 17 students and 7 staff members due to these two cases.
After consulting with Public Health, we are going to go fully remote at the elementary school for Tuesday and Wednesday and then reassess our situation.
I will reach out to you on Wednesday afternoon to let you know the status of the school for the remainder of the week.

Thank you to everyone for a great winter sports season, especially your patience and cooperation with our spectator policy. PLEASE be sure that your child’s entire uniform is returned to your coaches asap. We’re still experiencing issues in getting uniforms returned and we would would appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank You.

I have just been informed of related positive student cases at both Franklin High School and Franklin Middle School.
There has been no contact with any students due to vacation so we are all set for in-person learning tomorrow.
Please remember to stay vigilant with our mitigation strategies: mask wearing, social distancing, and frequent hand washing and sanitization.

On Friday, March 12, 9 – 11 am, Barbara Wilson of Lakes Region Community College will be at Franklin High School and online for an Express Admissions Event. At it, seniors can apply to the school and hear a response in just a few days.
Lakes Region Community College offers dozens of areas of study at the lowest tuition rate of any college in New Hampshire. With an average class size of 14, and a commitment to the student as an individual, LRCC offers both hands-on career-centered preparation AND strong liberal arts foundations that transfer easily to 4-year schools.
If you would like more information about LRCC and its programs, Barbara is offering a “Why Lakes Region Community College?” evening Zoom Tuesday, March 9, 7 – 7:30 pm. At it, she’ll take questions from seniors and their parents and also explain high school/college dual enrollment opportunities for next year’s 10th, 11th and 12th graders.
Express Admissions will be held Friday, March 12, 9 – 11 am in the Adult Education Room next to the Counseling Office.
The FHS Player's are about to embark on their final spring production of the school year and this year, it is SWEENEY TODD! We are very excited to offer this opportunity to ALL 8th graders through seniors!! If you are interested in joining us, or ever wanted to try- there are auditions THIS SUNDAY- Feb. 28 from 2-4 pm.
